Merrell was founded by Clark Matis, Randy Merrell, and John Schweizer in 1981 as a maker of high-performance hiking boots. Since then Merrell has been empowering amazing outdoor lives. Merrell believes nothing should get in the way of enjoying active outdoor adventures. Merrell hiking boots, trail running shoes, and apparel are built on Merrell’s outdoor heritage, quality, and performance.
